Mike McIntyre Not Endorsing Presidential Candidate, Runs From His Record of Supporting Failed Economic Policies

January 1, 2009

Good Morning,

North Carolina families know a politician when they see one and Mike McIntyre again proved that he is a typical politician that will say anything to win. McIntyre made national news over the weekend by saying he is “not endorsing a presidential candidate.” This comes after McIntyre was caught on tape actually running away from a reporter who was trying to ask him if he would endorse Obama for re-election. It’s no wonder McIntyre has spent the last couple months trying to hide from his record of supporting President Obama’s failed agenda that has led to higher gas prices, more spending, more government and less jobs for North Carolina families.

Remember rubberstamp Mike McIntyre:

• Has voted with Obama up to 82% percent of the time. (Congressional Quarterly, Accessed 6/19/2012)

• Voted for his party’s nearly trillion dollar stimulus package that hurt small business growth and saddled southeastern North Carolina families with generations of debt. (Roll Call #67)

NRCC COMMENT: “Mike McIntyre can run but he can’t hide from his record of supporting President Obama’s failed economic policies that have led to North Carolina’s sky high unemployment.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Andrea Bozek
