Chris Donovan – Incompetent
If you were a candidate for Congress, would you know how many staff you employed? Well Chris Donovan doesn’t.
In a revealing moment yesterday, when Chris Donovan was asked on WFSB-TV’s "Face the State" how many staff member he employs, he didn’t have a clue.
Ironically, in nearly the same breath that he admitted he had no idea how many people worked on his campaign, he denied critics charges that he’s an incompetent manager.
As you cover the evolving scandal surrounding Chris Donovan and new questions about how he could know so little about his own campaign, consider the following quote:
NRCC Comment: "Chris Donovan not knowing how many people he employs on his own congressional campaign is the definition of incompetence. Donovan’s claims of ignorance to the alleged activities of his top aides coupled with his admission that he doesn’t know how many people work for him prove he’s unfit to represent the Nutmeg State." – NRCC Spokesman Nat Sillin

Partial and unofficial transcript of WFSB-TV’s "Face the State" interview with Chris Donovan June 10, 2012:
House: "How many paid employees does the campaign have?"
Donovan: "I really don’t have that number right now, but its I don’t know…"
House: "5, 10, 20?"
Donovan: "I’d say 5 to 10. Somewhere in there."
