Chris Donovan – Sinking Chances

June 25, 2012

As Chris Donovan feebly attempts to move forward pretending the dark ethical could hovering over his campaign hasn’t significantly damaged his chances by holding a rally tonight, national Democrats remain deafeningly silent about their endorsed candidate and their sinking chances in this race.

If you cover Donovan’s manufactured show of support tonight – consider the following quote:

NRCC Comment: “National Democrats are deafeningly silent on Chris Donovan’s growing scandal because they know their candidate’s chances are going up in smoke faster than a hand-rolled cigarette. Either Donovan was complicit in the alleged activities – or he was so disconnected from his own campaign that he’s an incompetent manager unfit for federal office. Connecticut voters want to know – which is it?” – NRCC Spokesman Nat Sillin

DONOVAN HOLDS PRESS CONFERENCE, REFUSES TO ANSWER KEY QUESTIONS – “At several times during the press conference, reporters asked him about the timing of the inquiry and his relationship to the people involved but his campaign spokesman, Gabe Rosenberg, immediately shut down the questions.”

EDITORIAL: DONOVAN CAMPAIGN STING EXPOSED WOEFUL JUDGEMENT – “His management incompetence, woeful hiring judgment and lack of candor speak poorly of him as a top legislative leader or as a prospective member of Congress.”

DONOVAN WHIFFED ON CHANCE TO MAKE US BELIEVERS – “In the fight of his political life, Chris Donovan blew what could be his last chance.”

DONOVAN’S WOES IMPACT OTHER CONN. HOUSE CANDIDATES – “Connecticut’s hottest race for a U.S. House of Representatives seat was dealt a surprise, potentially game-changing development.”
