Speaker Shells Out $6k To Owens’ Campaign; Is She Looking For Her Next Puppet To Control?
Washington- After her failed economic policies have fallen flat with Central and Northern New Yorkers, it’s no surprise that Speaker Nancy Pelosi is looking to exert her control on the next round of Democrat hopefuls. In an effort to muster another vote for her unpopular policies, according to Federal Election Commission reports Pelosi is shelling out $6,000 to Democrat Candidate Bill Owens in hopes of bringing another job-killing rubber stamp to Washington:
It’s no wonder Pelosi is looking for support. Democrats’ unpopular policies have cost them in recent polls:
“Things have started to look similar under Democratic President Barack Obama. His poll ratings slipped through the summer months, his party was damaged by a bruising health-care debate, and the latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll shows the job-approval rating for the Democratic-controlled Congress has slumped to 22% — almost precisely where it was at this time in the 1994 election cycle.” (Gerald F. Seib, “GOP Faces Host of Hurdles as It Seeks a Replay of 1994,” Wall Street Journal, 10/08/2009)
Do Central and Northern New Yorkers really want another Pelosi puppet in Congress?
