September 3, 2012

Yikes. This couldn’t have been what Mike McIntyre was hoping to read this morning as he gets ready to welcome President Obama to his home state for the Democrat convention.

Star News: Mike McIntyre: Southeastern North Carolina better off now than 2008 ‘in many ways’

What do NC families think?

  • SurveyUSA: 60 Percent Of North Carolina Voters Think The Country Is On The Wrong Track, While 33 Percent Think It Is Headed In The Right Direction. (SurveyUSA, 540 RV, MoE 4.2%, 8/19-8/23/12)

Looks like this out-of-touch politician is ready to party this week while North Carolina has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country.

North Carolina Has Had An Unemployment Rate At 9 Percent Or Above For 43 Consecutive Months. (Bureau Of Labor Statistics)

NRCC COMMENT: “Mike McIntyre is all dressed up and ready to party with President Obama, while North Carolina families are suffering the consequences of their reckless spending policies. McIntyre might be the only person left in North Carolina who actually thinks we are better off with stimulus jobs being created in China rather than North Carolina.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Andrea Bozek
