NEW AD: Confused by Jim Matheson?

Here’s the NRCC’s newest ad that is up in Utah, exposing Matheson’s distortions of his own record.

NRCC COMMENT: “Fact is, Jim Matheson is Barack Obama’s biggest supporter in Utah. Matheson continues to support policies that are adding to our debt and costing us jobs.” – NRCC Spokesman Daniel Scarpinato

 

Script as follows:

ANNOUNCER: Confused by Jim Matheson? 

His TV ad says:

JIM MATHESON AD: That’s why he voted against all the bailouts.

ANNOUNCER: But Matheson voted to bail out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac,

Which could cost taxpayers $300 billion dollars. 

His ad says: 

AD:  Voted against ObamaCare. 

ANNOUNCER: But Matheson voted thirteen times to fund ObamaCare, which cuts Medicare by $700 billion dollars.

JIM MATHESON: I believe that a penny saved is a penny earned. 

ANNOUNCER: Sure you do Jim, except when it’s our money.
