Kissell’s problem with the truth continues
September 27, 2012
It is no wonder National Democrats have abandoned Larry Kissell – he clearly has some problems with the truth. Yesterday at an event, Kissell said he has “never raised the debt limit.”
Let’s take a look at his voting record…
- On Feb. 4, 2010, Rep. Kissell voted for final passage of the bill that increased the national debt limit by $1.9 trillion to a total of $14.29 trillion.
- Kissell’s failed stimulus increased the statutory limit on the public debt by $789 billion.
- Kissell voted for Sen. Reid’s debt plan that would have increased the debt limit by $1.2 trillion.
NRCC COMMENT: “Larry Kissell can’t handle the truth when it comes to his reckless spending record that has left North Carolina families in a code red economic situation.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Andrea Bozek
