so you’re saying there’s a chance

October 23, 2012

As we gear up for the last debate in North Carolina’s 11th district, wanted to highlight something ominous that Hayden Rogers recently said at a League of Women Voters Forum:

“If you want someone who will …make decisions regardless of what ideology I had before I went there, then I’m going to be a good candidate for you.” – League of Women Voters Forum, 9/13/2012

So Hayden’s saying there’s a chance that the values he claims he has now may very well not be the same values he has if he gets to Washington? That’s not a very comforting thought to North Carolina families and small business owners.

Please consider the following statement on Hayden Rogers admitting he will go to Congress and change his entire point-of-view:

NRCC COMMENT: “Western North Carolina voters will vote for someone who will champion their values in Congress, not someone like Hayden Rogers who admits he plans to change his views. With all this talk about mountain values, it looks like Rogers has no intention of bringing those to Congress.” — NRCC spokeswoman Meagan Holder
