Jon Stewart Destroys Paul Krugman’s Trillion-Dollar Coin Idea

Last night, comedian Jon Stewart gave the idea of a $1 Trillion platinum coin to solve the debt the exact amount of seriousness it deserves. It seems liberal economist and platinum coin advocate Paul Krugman is upset with Jon for pointing out the obvious ridiculousness of minting a trillion-dollar coin (Warning: Expletive Language):
Whether it’s through a platinum coin or a platinum card to pay for their spending, it’s clear that the Democrats have no intention of addressing our nation’s overspending problem.
