White House Tries To Clean Up Mess After Pelosi’s Disastrous Interview

The cleanup effort from Nancy Pelosi’s disastrous interview is continuing in full today. If you remember, Pelosi admitted twice that she didn’t believe our country had a spending problem.

Now, WH Press Secretary Jay Carney has been shamed into commenting on the matter at his daily press briefing:

Carney: “Of course the president believes we have a spending problem”

But these are empty words – remember, it was just a few weeks ago that Obama told Speaker John Boehner in a private meeting that the government does NOT have a spending problem.

President Obama’s agenda is clear. He pays lip service to cutting spending, but then proposes program after program that would cost billions more and put an even heavier burden on the next generation. Nancy Pelosi–whom President Obama vowed to make Speaker again–showed their true colors.

The Democrats just want to keep spending and have no concern for fixing our fiscal mess.
