NRCC Web Ad: House Dems Tap Extremist Alan Grayson As Legislator in Chief

Video highlights Grayson’s history of crazy talk, outrageous sound bites

In response to House Democrats’ recent announcement that far-left extremist Alan Grayson (FL-09) will be their lead policy guru, the National Republican Congressional Committee has released a web video highlighting Grayson’s history of offensive and outrageous remarks.

Last week, House Democrats announced Grayson would lead “Operation Bust Their Chops” – a campaign to devise extreme legislation they want to use against Republicans in the next election. But picking a loose-cannon like Grayson as their Legislator in Chief shows the Democrats’ true colors.

“As the most liberal caucus in history, House Democrats are determined to force their extreme agenda on the American people,” said NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek. “Alan Grayson is a wildly out-of-touch Washington politician who prides himself on crazy, outrageous statements. This pick tells you everything you need to know about where the Democrats want to take our country.”

Liberals in House Hatch Plans to ‘Bust the Chops’ of GOP.  On Thursday, Grayson sought to describe the effort as something quite different than a more-coordinated form of a political dirty trick or sabotage. Rather, he said the amendments that would be included in this “bank” would be also used to set an agenda “for the next go-round.” “If the Democrats end up winning the House, then the amendments that we’d be offering will naturally become part of the next Congress’ agenda,” he said.
