Gallup: Obama’s Never-Ending Campaign Hits a Roadblock

Yesterday, per usual, Gallup rolled out their three-day average of Barack Obama’s job approval as President of the United States.  So, what’s the clincher?  This was the first rolling average that included dates after the sequester cuts on Friday.

Politico compared it to a week earlier. Here’s what the data showed:

“President Obama’s job approval rating took a hit over the weekend, falling to its lowest level in the Gallup three-day average since his reelection….His disapproval rating also jumped to its highest level since November, hitting 46 percent over the weekend, up from 40 percent a week earlier.” ¹

This totals a net negative movement of 13 points against the President in just one week.  More importantly, it paints a clear picture of voters’ continued discontent with President Obama’s never-ending campaign and misplaced priorities.

In the aftermath of his sequester, it looks like President Obama didn’t fare so well.
