Jay Carney Claims Obamacare Lowers Costs, Proved False By Own HHS Secretary

Just two weeks ago, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius admitted what many already knew: Obamacare is raising premiums for American families.

This was a stunning thing to finally acknowledge. Many Democrats, including President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and even Sebelius herself, promised that Obamacare would lower healthcare costs. In fact, it became a standard justification for passing the law.

Sounds like someone didn’t get the memo…

At today’s White House Press Briefing, Jay Carney said President Obama was primarily interested in reducing the cost of healthcare and that was one of the main goals of Obamacare.

According to President Obama’s own HHS Secretary, one of the main goals of Obamacare has plainly failed. Obamacare has not held down costs, it has caused them to explode–breaking Democrats’ numerous promises.

Remember, the name of the bill is called “The AFFORDABLE Care Act.”
