NRCC Announces Hire of National Coalitions Director

Bettina Inclán Will Work With Coalitions Co-Chairs To Increase Committee Outreach

WASHINGTON – The National Republican Congressional Committee today announced the hire of Bettina Inclán, who will serve as the Committee’s Coalitions Director. An experienced former communications and policy staffer, Bettina is the former National Deputy Coalitions Director for the Romney presidential campaign and previously served as Director of Hispanic Outreach for the Republican National Committee. For the last decade, she has worked on campaigns from coast to coast, including helping Florida Governor Rick Scott win over 50% of the Hispanic vote in 2010. A Capitol Hill veteran, Bettina worked with Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart (R-FL) and served as Communications Director the U.S. House Republican Policy Committee.

In her new capacity as NRCC’s National Coalitions Director, Bettina will create a road map to expand GOP engagement efforts to include emerging communities and minority groups. She will work closely with Members of Congress and with congressional candidates on how best to communicate with and attract these coalition groups and strengthen grassroots support.

“Bettina brings a wealth of experience to the NRCC, and as we work to develop our national outreach and engagement program with diverse growing communities, we are confident that her knowledge and familiarity with grassroots execution will prove to be a winning combination heading into the 2014 election cycle,” said NRCC Political Director Rob Simms.

The NRCC’s Coalitions Co-Chairs, Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA) and Rep. Tom Graves (R-GA) will be working extensively with Bettina as the 2014 cycle approaches. Both Beutler and Graves are involved with the Committee to effectively increase outreach to varying coalitions across the country.
