Deja Vu All Over Again! Dems Nervous About ObamaCare Rollout

There are a couple things you can count on every morning: a fresh-brewed cup of coffee, a newspaper sitting on the porch, and more bad headlines on ObamaCare’s rollout.

Today, the New York Times is out with a story detailing Democrats’ fears over the disastrous implementation of the law.

“Democrats are worried about 2014 — a president’s party typically loses seats in midterm years — and some have gone public with concerns about the pace of carrying out the law. Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the majority leader, told an interviewer last week that he agreed with a recent comment by Senator Max Baucus of Montana, a Democratic architect of the law, who said “a train wreck” could occur this fall if preparations fell short.”

If you’re thinking that this is déjà vu, you’re probably right. Last week, The Hill wrote a very similar story exploring how ObamaCare will be a serious burden on Democrats running in 2014.

“Anxious Democrats fear a botched implementation of ObamaCare could dash their hopes of controlling the House and Senate for President Obama’s last two years in office.

‘At his press conference Tuesday, Obama acknowledged “glitches and bumps” in the law’s rollout, but some congressional Democrats fear much worse.”

Looking at the polls, it’s quite understandable why Democrats would be shaking in their liberal boots.

Last week, the Kaiser Family Foundation released a poll showing that just 35 percent of Americans have a favorable view of the law.

Today, yet another poll is out confirming that Americans are very unhappy—or nervous, at the very least—about Obama’s government takeover of healthcare.

According to Rasmussen, just 39 percent of Americans have a favorable view of ObamaCare. With poll numbers in the basement is it any surprise that Democrats—even Harry Reid and Max Baucus—are running as fast as they can away from this debacle?
