Nancy Pelosi is shopping for a Congressional district in Ohio!
Latest news from Ohio…
Ex-Rep. John Boccieri and Nancy Pelosi are shopping around for a district that can tolerate the already once fired former Congressman.
Ohio families know that Boccieri isn’t concerned with representing his community. His main focus is finding his way back to Washington so he can continue his life as a career politician.
It’s going to take Nancy Pelosi and John Boccieri a long time to find a district that can tolerate Boccieri’s record of supporting Pelosi for Speaker, his vote for ObamaCare and his unwavering support of the failed stimulus that hurt Ohio families. Instead of spending time polling districts, Washington Democrats should have Boccieri apologize for his dismal record in Congress that cost Ohioans jobs.

Democrats poll on whether voters would back ex-Rep. John Boccieri in rematch with Rep. Jim Renacci
Cleveland Plain Dealer
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee conducted an automated telephone poll on Monday that asked voters in Wadsworth GOP Rep. Jim Renacci’s district who they’d favor in a rematch with the Democrat he defeated to win office in 2010, ex-Rep. John Boccieri of Alliance.
Constituents who got the phone calls reported them to Renacci campaign officials, and a Democratic source with knowledge of the survey confirmed it occurred but declined to share its results or whether Boccieri intends to run for the seat.
“We think the district is competitive, and we think Mr. Renacci is vulnerable for a host of reasons,” the Democratic source said.
Boccieri did not return a phone call to his cell phone on Tuesday afternoon. In January, he filed Federal Election Commission paperwork to run against GOP Rep. Bob Gibbs of Holmes county but told The Plain Dealer he was still examining his options and both Renacci and Gibbs would be vulnerable to a challenge.
FEC records show that Boccieri’s campaign listed the December purchase of a $1,500 “campaign office data base, ” and a $3,067 expenditure for holiday cards as 2014 primary expenses. An April 9 FEC report indicated that Boccieri’s campaign had just $19 in the bank at the end of March.
Renacci’s campaign had $300,110 in the bank at the end of March, but owed debts of $463,200 – much of it in personal loans from the candidate. After beating Boccieri in 2010, Renacci defeated ex-Rep. Betty Sutton of Copley Township to remain in office after redistricting.
