NRCC Announces Rich Dunn As Battleground Director for the 2014 Cycle
Top Political Operative Welcome Addition To Aggressive Team
Today, the National Republican Congressional Committee announced Rich Dunn will be joining the team for the 2014 election cycle. Dunn, who will serve as the Battleground Director for the Committee, joins the NRCC with more than a decade in Republican politics.
Most recently, Dunn served as Chief of Staff to Senator Tim Scott (R-SC). Previously, he was the Political Director for the National Republican Senatorial Committee during the 2012 cycle. Prior to his time at the NRSC, he served as Deputy Incumbent Retention Director at the NRCC in 2008. In addition to his campaign work, Dunn has extensive legislative experience on Capitol Hill, having worked in senior staff positions for both Representative Michele Bachmann (MN-06) and Former Representative Chris Chocola (IN-02).
“I am looking forward to being a part of such an aggressive and talented team,” said Dunn. “2014 is a critical election, and I’m excited about returning to the NRCC as we work to grow the Majority.”
“Rich’s extensive political experience and sharp political instincts make him a strong and welcome addition to our team,” said NRCC Executive Director Liesl Hickey. “Rich will be an invaluable resource to our Members, candidates and team as we continue to stay on offense in order to strengthen our House majority in 2014.”
