The Fail Files: DCCC’s Liberal Recruit Already Dropped Out Once Before
The DCCC started off the week with another fresh recruitment fail, this time in Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District with Democrat Staci Appel.
Yet another recruitment fail from @DCCC – this time, with Fmr State Sen Staci Appel in #IA03. Nice try, I guess? http://t.co/KLMpHDGFfk

It looks like the Democrats were having a hard time finding another challenger to run against Congressman Tom Latham. Appel isn’t exactly an ideal candidate.
.@DCCC starts off Monday with a recruiting #fail: Staci Appel announces, drops out, then re-announces 3 months later. http://t.co/rDRoM9aatw

That’s right: Staci Appel entered the race three months ago, then dropped out of the race. Now she’s back in? Don’t worry if you’re a little confused – so are we. Is recruiting a candidate with a 0 for 1 record really the best the Democrats can offer for Iowa’s families?
I think this about captures it MT @AndrewHClark @DCCC starts off Monday with recruiting #fail http://t.co/qnJoLKGUEg pic.twitter.com/KuSiKJj1cW
