Mum’s the word – Enyart knows that Pelosi’s tax-and-spend agenda is not right for Illinois
With little over a year to go before the 2014 elections, Bill Enyart has yet to announce whether or not he’s running for re-election in Illinois’ 12th District. What’s the hold up?
The Belleville News Democrat reported yesterday that although fundraising numbers for Members and candidates have been pouring in, Enyart hasn’t hinted either way whether or not he’s going to make another run for his Congressional seat. Perhaps he’s realized that running on Nancy Pelosi’s tax-and-spend, big-government agenda isn’t the right choice for Illinois families.
Chances are he’s been checking out the latest poll numbers, which have him trailing a potential challenger. And after checking out those numbers, it’s not surprise that Enyart is so hesitate to announce.
When covering this story, please consider the following statement:
NRCC Statement: “Bill Enyart and his big government, tax and spend agenda is not resonating well with Illinois’ hard-working families. The Democrats’ plan of spend, spend, spend without consequences is hurting the American people, and Illinois’ 12th District deserves better than a Representative who is going to help Nancy Pelosi rack up more debt on the backs of hard working Americans.”
