Big Labor On ObamaCare: “Vision Has Come Back To Haunt Us”

ObamaCare’s implementation is so bad even Democrats are starting to turn on each other.

We all know about Max Baucus’ famous “train wreck” comment and have detailed several more ObamaCare “frenemies.”

On Friday afternoon, three influential unions, including the Teamsters, sent a letter to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid thrashing ObamaCare, saying it will “destroy the very health and wellbeing of our members along with millions of other hardworking Americans” and states “[the law] has come back to haunt us.”

The Wall Street Journal published the letter in full and it does not hold back.

“Time is running out: Congress wrote this law; we voted for you. We have a problem; you need to fix it. The unintended consequences of the ACA are severe. Perverse incentives are already creating nightmare scenarios…”

This about face is quite rich indeed.

Don’t be fooled. Unions were a major voice in favor of Obama’s government takeover of healthcare. They even targeted Democrats who voted against the initial bill.

ObamaCare is such a disaster, it’s even alienating Democrats’ closest allies: big labor.
