NRCC Calls On DCCC To Donate Grayson Contributions To Charity

Grayson Donated $43K To DCCC In Last Two Years

WASHINGTON – Today, the National Republican Congressional Committee called on its Democratic counterpart, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), to donate Rep. Alan Grayson’s $43,800 in contributions to charity. Grayson is under fire for comparing the Tea Party to the Ku Klux Klan and for using racist and homophobic slurs.

“Alan Grayson already has the reputation for being one of the most offensive people in Congress and his latest actions only reinforce that reputation,” said NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek. “The DCCC must immediately donate Alan Grayson’s campaign contributions to charity and distance themselves from his extremely disgusting comments.”
