Arizona Republic: Pro-Kirkpatrick Ad Claim is “dubious”
An ad in Arizona from Nancy Pelosi’s Super PAC, House Majority PAC, is getting a lot of attention.
The ad, in support of Democrat Ann Kirkpatrick, claims she “blew the whistle” on the problems with the ObamaCare website — even though Kirkpatrick voted for ObamaCare and has consistently voted against fixes to the law. In fact, just today, Kirkpatrick voted against bipartisan legislation to provide transparency in Obamacare enrollment data and reporting on the Obamacare website. (SEE VOTE HERE)
Look what the Arizona Republic is saying about the ad:
“… The ad supporting Kirkpatrick makes a dubious claim. It says she ‘blew the whistle on the disastrous health care website.’ Kirkpatrick didn’t criticize the roll-out of HealthCare.gov until six weeks after the website’s problematic launch. That’s hardly blowing the whistle….
The House Majority PAC ads come a day after Kirkpatrick voted against a GOP bill to require the government to notify consumers of security breaches under the health-care program.”
