With Cuts To Medicare Advantage Coming, What Will Tim Bishop Say To Seniors?
More ObamaCare Broken Promises From Tim Bishop
WASHINGTON – Everyone knows ObamaCare—a law that both President Obama and Tim Bishop support—is canceling plans, raising premiums, and costing jobs. Americans even know that Democrats promised they would be able to keep their current plans, if they liked them. Now that the claim has been labeled PolitiFact’s “Lie of the Year,” seniors relying on Medicare Advantage will soon be facing the cold reality of Democrats’ broken promises.
ObamaCare is cutting Medicare Advantage by $156 billion over the next 10 years. And who can they thank for gutting this vital program? None other than Tim Bishop. Many seniors will soon see that the plans and doctors they have come to know and like will suddenly become unavailable. Bishop should tell New York seniors why he insists on raiding Medicare Advantage to pay for his failed law.
“Tim Bishop is at it again,” said NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek. “After supporting a law that cancels plans and raises premiums, he’s back for more—this time raiding Medicare Advantage. Bishop’s string of broken promises to protect ObamaCare’s failures is finally catching up with him.”
