NRCC Petition Asks Voters to Stand In Support of Women Against Rep. Alan Grayson’s Despicable Actions

This past weekend, Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) was accused of shoving his wife, Lolita.  According to Mrs. Grayson, the two were involved in a heated dispute late Saturday, and Congressman Grayson acted with force, pushing her to the ground and causing her to fall. Alan Grayson has denied the allegation.

The National Republican Congressional Committee has devised an online petition asking those who stand on the side of women to lend their support in signing. 

This alleged domestic violence assault is the latest in a series of despicable acts by Rep. Grayson, who also has a history of offensive behavior towards women. In 2009, the Congressman called a female adviser to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke a “K Street whore.”

Grayson’s deplorable behavior towards women should not be tolerated, especially in a legislative body such as Congress, where its members are held to the highest moral standards. Grayson’s Democrat colleagues in Congress should feel compelled to condemn his disgraceful actions.
