Bill deBlasio’s Choice for Congress in Staten Island? Pickpocket Dom Recchia

In case you missed it, Bill deBlasio appeared at a Staten Island rally last night to make Pickpocket Domenic Recchia a member of the DeBlasio Democrat club.

Apparently deBlasio likes what he sees in Recchia – a guy who will pick Staten Islanders’ pockets while lining his own and those of his friends like Vito Lopez.

After all, Recchia voted for the highest property tax rate in New York City history, but is routinely late paying his own taxes.

And Recchia supported requiring Staten Islanders to pay $8 to get into Manhattan during the busiest times of the day, but then turns around and gives his mentor Vito Lopez millions in taxpayer money.

So it’s no surprise that DeBlasio is a Recchia fan. Too bad for Recchia that DeBlasio got crushed in Staten Island by 9 points this past November.
