DCCC Actively Working Against Female Candidates In Their Own Party

April 28, 2014

Let’s play a game:

Name the 2 political groups that the Wall St. Journal noted this morning are duking it out across the country with millions of dollars to gain control of competitive congressional seats.

(Take your time…)

If you answered Republicans and Democrats or the NRCC and the DCCC, you’d be incorrect.

The correct answer is Emily’s List and the DCCC.

As the Wall Street Journal pointed out this morning, the DCCC is actively working against female candidates in CA-31 and PA-08. Their rejection of these women candidates exposes their blatant hypocrisy and is quickly becoming an embarrassment for the party.

In an election year where House Democrats are running straight into ObamaCare’s headwinds, this intra-party squabble is complicating even the slim chance they have at success this November.

NRCC COMMENT: “Things are so bad for Democrats, they’ve given up challenging Republicans and are resorting to fighting with themselves. The schism between national Democrats and liberal special interest groups are poised to sink candidacies on both sides of the country.” – Matt Gorman, NRCC Spokesman

PS – Hey, did you see that Barbara Comstock in Virginia and Mia Love in Utah won their respective Republican primaries over the weekend?
