Obama: Put That on the Taxpayer’s Tab
Not even a half of a billion dollars can help save the ObamaCare exchange websites for Massachusetts, Oregon and Maryland.
That’s right, these three states have spent several hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars on creating failed ObamaCare exchange websites. Oregon, specifically, has not enrolled a single person on their exchange site. Unfortunately, taxpayers are going to have to shell out more of their hard earned money to fix these websites.
In addition to paying for these expensive websites, taxpayers in several states, like West Virginia, will see an enormous hike in their premiums. Families are having a hard time budgeting costs as it is, they cannot afford these new ObamaCare bills. This November, voters will remember those who spoke and voted in favor of ObamaCare and oust them from Congress. Taxpayers and families deserve a Republican leader who will fight for their constituents and repeal this costly and flawed law.
From Politico:
“Where has that funding left the four most troubled states?
“Nevada, for one, is still trying to figure out its future. Oregon has decided to switch to HealthCare.gov. Maryland wants to fix its own exchange, maybe by incorporating what worked in Connecticut. Massachusetts actually wants to do both — build a portal from scratch while planning a move to the federal exchange as a backup.”
