Watch This Arizona Democrat Declare His Support For Obama’s Medicare Cuts

Arizona Democrat Ron Barber has a lot of explaining to do on Medicare Advantage.

In April of this year, Barber’s office falsely claimed he “aggressively opposed proposed cuts in Medicare Advantage.”

Barber must be hoping we all forgot about this moment:

•  At his Oct. 23, 2012 debate with Martha McSally at the University of Arizona, Barber falsely and forcefully claimed the Obamacare “does not cut from Medicare at all.”
  

• Barber then went on to laud these cuts, calling them “overpayments” and criticizing Medicare Advantage as a program that spends too much. Barber went as far as to say that additional taxpayer dollars should NOT go to Medicare Advantage.

That’s what Barber had to say when he was talking extemporaneously. That’s the real Ron Barber.

• But now that he’s polled tested the issue and realized his position is toxic, here’s what his staffers are writing for him in an op-ed this year: “Medicare Advantage is a rare program that has delivered great results under budget.”

Whoa… That sure is some political-speechifying…

Luckily, thanks to the power of YouTube, we know what the real Ron Barber actually thinks.

Barber needs to explain to Southern Arizona seniors why he stood with President Obama when it mattered and supported cuts to Medicare Advantage.

Barber continues to prove that he’s a disingenuous hypocrite that talks out of both sides of his mouth. When it mattered, Barber threw Southern Arizona seniors under the bus, and therefore, he simply cannot be trusted to protect their benefits given his clear disregard for Medicare Advantage.
