This Democrat Told The Truth In This TV Ad By Admitting He Wants A Carbon Tax. So When Will Rahall Do It?

Don Beyer, the new Democrat nominee in Virginia’s 8th District, hasn’t wasted any time reminding voters of his liberal agenda.

“That’s why I support a carbon tax,” Beyer admits in a recent TV spot.

We appreciate Beyer’s confession to the voters that he wants to raise their taxes and strangle the local economy by levying new costs on carbon emissions. If only West Virginia’s Nick Rahall would come clean and do the same! He, after all, actually voted for a carbon tax.

Don’t get too excited. Representing an R+14 district, Rahall is trying to hide his anti-coal, cap-and-trade record. But the facts speak for themselves. He’s relying on Nancy Pelosi’s liberal, anti-coal Super PAC to distort his record and attack his opponent. At the end of the day, the voters will see right through it.
