One Reason Republicans Don’t Believe the IRS Commissioner? He’s Donated $100,000 to Democrats
Last week the lack of transparency from the IRS hit an all-time high.
IRS Commissioner John Koskinen claimed they lost TWO YEARS of Lois Lerner’s e-mail exchanges and that six other employees also experienced an alleged computer “crash” that erased all e-mails over the same period of time.
Even more troubling is that Koskinen, who was appointed by Barack Obama, has spent nearly $100,000 to support Democrats since 1979!
He has frequently contributed to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Hillary Clinton, every Democratic Presidential candidate since 1980, and other Democratic candidates and groups.
“I’m sitting here, listening to this testimony, I don’t believe it !” Paul Ryan told him in a heated speech in the hearing last week.
How can we trust House Democrats to hold the IRS Commissioner accountable when he has been such an avid supporter of their liberal agenda?
From Washington Free Beacon :
It is important to remember that Koskinen has shelled out nearly $100,000 to Democratic candidates and groups.
Koskinen has been contributing to Democrats for four decades, starting with a $1000 contribution to Democratic candidate for Colorado Senate candidate Gary Hart in 1979.
Koskinen has been a reliable donor over the years, contributing a total of $19,000 to the Democratic National Committee from 1988 to 2008. He has made a contribution to the Democratic candidate for president in each election since 1980, including $2,300 to Obama in 2008, and $5000 toObama in 2012.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has received $3,000from Koskinen since 2008, and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee received $2,000 from 2004 to 2006.
