It’s Official: Nancy Pelosi Endorses Aimee Belgard
In New Interview, Pelosi Names Belgard’s District As Path To Retaking House
WASHINGTON – In an interview today with the Washington Post, Nancy Pelosi vowed to take back the House by winning 25 seats in November. When asked specifically what candidates would be among that group, she named New Jersey’s Aimee Belgard.
Once again Nancy Pelosi has raised the stakes. She endorsed Belgard and told the country that the path to the majority runs right through Belgard’s district. That’s right. For Nancy Pelosi to return as Speaker and President Obama to regain complete liberal control of Washington, New Jersey needs to send Aimee Belgard to Congress.
Belgard and Pelosi share a belief that ObamaCare isn’t hurting New Jersey families; that our country can spend its way to prosperity; and that the government knows best how to create a job. That’s just plain wrong.
“Nancy Pelosi couldn’t be clearer,” said NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek. “Today, Pelosi officially endorsed Aimee Belgard and said the path to returning as Speaker depends on her. New Jersey is not ready to go back to the days of budget-busting bills and ObamaCare-style laws.”
FYI, a similar version of this release below went out to the following districts: Amanda Renteria (CA-21), Ann Callis (IL-13), Aimee Belgard (NJ-03), Sean Eldridge (NY-19), Aaron Woolf (NY-21), Martha Robertson (NY-23), Erin Bilbray (NV-03), Pete Gallego (TX-23) and John Foust (VA-10)
Today, Nancy Pelosi Endorsed Aimee Belgard And Said The Path To A Democrat Majority Relies On Her District.
