Morgan Carroll Sticks To Her Day Job
January 20, 2016
According to the Denver Post, state Senator Morgan Carroll has so little confidence in her chances of unseating Rep. Mike Coffman in CO-06 that she has opted to keep her day job and remain in the state legislature during her campaign.
But don’t take my word for it. Colorado College’s professor emeritus of political science Robert Loevy told the Post that Carroll is “not showing a high degree of confidence that she can beat Coffman” by refusing to resign her seat.
By hedging her electoral bets and remaining in the state Senate, Carroll is also ensuring that her ultra-liberal voting record will continue to prove she is out of touch with the priorities of 6th District families.
