NRCC Weekly Rundown: New details on Hillary Clinton’s FBI investigation problem, Collin Peterson feels the Bern, and more!
And here’s this week’s edition of the NRCC Weekly Rundown:
National: Just days after getting swept in three caucuses by socialist Senator Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton received more bad news. A Washington Post investigative report detailed the FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s email server, concluding that she and her staff neglected security warnings and national security laws.
CA-25: In light of Lou Vince coming out in favor of high-speed rail, the NRCC asked carpetbagging Beverly Hills attorney Bryan Caforio where he stood on this top issue in CA-25.
MN-07: Collin Peterson felt the Bern this week, declaring that he would support Bernie Sanders as a superdelegate at the Democratic National Convention. Peterson lining up between a socialist may surprise some, as his conservative-leaning district has supported the GOP presidential nominee in every election since 2004.

MACARTHUR: FEMA chief should resign, hearings convened
This report summarized a yearlong investigation, prompted by a “60 Minutes” interview in March of 2015, which revealed that thousands of superstorm Sandy victims had been wrongfully denied insurance claims due to corrupt and fraudulent practices. Because of this, I again call on Administrator Craig Fugate to resign and for a new administrator to more actively manage this vital program and eliminate the layers of bureaucracy that plague FEMA and leave federal employees unaccountable for mismanagement.
