Angie Craig Formally Anointed In MN-02

It’s official: Angie Craig is the unanimous choice of Democrat power brokers from the MN DFL all the way to the Congressional Progressive Caucus in Washington, DC. This weekend, Craig was anointed by the MN DFL after party bosses cleared the field of primary opponents and deprived DFL voters of the chance to have a voice in picking their nominee.

Early on in the campaign, Craig sold her political soul to establishment power brokers and began wrapping up endorsements from key liberal leaders and progressive special interests early and often. The ceremony this weekend was nothing more than a dog and pony show to pretend DFL voters had any say in the process when party bosses had long ago decided that Craig would be the nominee.
