Rick Nolan gets his wish as Biden says GITMO to close by January
Rick Nolan may finally get his wish, as Vice President Joe Biden, at a press conference in Sweden, revealed the Obama administration’s intention to implement their plan to close GITMO and bring the dangerous terrorists held there to U.S. soil.
Nolan has been a steadfast supporter of closing GITMO, voting as recently as June to give President Obama the authority to close the facility and bring the dangerous terrorists held there to U.S. soil.
The Obama administration has been working overtime to transfer terrorists out of GITMO, recently sending 15 to the UAE, despite reports that at least a dozen previously released GITMO detainees had gone on to launch attacks on Americans. Those remaining at GITMO include the some of the most dangerous terrorists in the world, including al-Qaeda bomb makers, Osama bin Laden’s personal bodyguard, and 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.
