Will Angie Craig Back Pelosi For Speaker?

As national Democrats stumble along in their failing campaign to retake the House majority, Democrat candidates in competitive districts across the country are refusing to commit to backing Nancy Pelosi for Speaker of the House should they be elected. Just 63 days out from Election Day voters deserve to know if Angie Craig will cast her ballot for Nancy Pelosi for speaker.

These Democrat candidates are essentially campaigning on the promise of giving Pelosi, one of the most toxic political figures in recent cycles, the speaker’s gavel again, yet find themselves afraid to publicly express their implicit support. Democrats are stuck between a rock and a hard place, as many will be relying on outside spending by the DCCC (Pelosi’s campaign arm) and/or House Majority PAC (Pelosi’s Super PAC), to prop up their campaigns, yet are still dodging the question of whether or not they will back her for Speaker.
