Elitist Salud Carbajal pays somebody to apologize for his “armpit” insult

How does elitist Salud Carbajal apologize for insulting an entire city that he hopes to represent in congress? He pays somebody else to do it, of course! After calling Lompoc the “armpit” of Santa Barbara County, Carbajal couldn’t even be bothered to apologize for himself, instead letting his paid campaign staffer do it for him.

It also appears that Carbajal has a history of disparaging comments. “Salud made numerous denigrating comments about both Lompoc and Guadalupe and probably other places.”

Carbajal has spent years as a Santa Barbara County supervisor, and under his watch the income-inequality-gap in the Santa Maria-Santa Barbara region has climbed to the sixth worst in the nation. His denigrating comments towards areas of the county he has failed only further reveal Carbajal’s elitist disdain for the less fortunate.
