Pete Gallego can’t name one legislative accomplishment during TX-23 debate (Spoiler Alert: because he doesn’t have any)
October 27, 2016
During the TX-23 debate this morning on KSAT, both Pete Gallego and Will Hurd were asked about the accomplishments they were most proud of. Pete Gallego was very obviously unable to name any sort of tangible, legislative accomplishments – because he has none.
Conversely, Will Hurd rattled off an impressive list of legislative accomplishments that directly impact the 23rd District. Hurd has had 5 bills pass the House of Representatives. Gallego was unable to pass a single bill during his time in Congress.
NRCC Comment: “23rd District voters were able to clearly see who gets results for them in Washington and who doesn’t. While Will Hurd has proven to be an effective advocate for Texas families, Pete Gallego is completely unable to point to a single legislative accomplishment, because he doesn’t have any.” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Hunter
