NRCC Chairman Greg Walden’s Statement on NRCC Chairman-Elect Congressman Steve Stivers

National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Greg Walden issued the following statement on Congressman Steve Stivers’ election as NRCC Chairman for the 2018 cycle:

“Congratulations to Steve Stivers on his election as the National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman for the 2018 cycle. Over these past four years, Steve’s leadership has been instrumental as our Finance Chairman in the 2014 cycle and as our Patriot Program Chairman in the 2016 cycle. Steve’s work assisting vulnerable incumbents facing re-election in competitive districts across the country was crucial to our success. I am immensely proud of the work we have accomplished together and I am excited to be leaving the NRCC in Steve’s capable hands.
