Kurt Schrader really, really loves Obamacare. Even if it means denying the facts about this failed law.

Late last night in committee markup, Schrader unleashed a stemwinder defending the unpopular law.

“The ACA is more popular now than it has been for many years!”

“It is good legislation! It was a good piece of work!”

“It did reduce the deficit!”

“It was fully paid for!”

Reminder: this year, Oregon premiums increased 27% on average for families. And, the number of available plans fell by 40%. Not to mention, there’s the Cover Oregon debacle – Oregon’s $305 million failed health insurance exchange that was famously mocked by John Oliver himself.

Obamacare: bad for Oregon, Kurt Schrader loves it anyway.
