Lyin’ about lyin’

Rob Quist is living out a country song. First he was cheatin’ (on his taxes). Then he was lyin’ (about not being able to pay his taxes). Now he’s lyin’ about lyin’.

While explaining why he lost his contract with Warner Western, Quist originally blamed a botched gall bladder operation: “I needed a gall bladder operation.”

But yesterday in an interview with KGVO, Quist claimed it was a bad back – not gallbladder surgery – that cost him the same contract: “I had to have back surgery.”
