Pelosi Confuses NSA with NRA, Putting Incompetence On Full Display
Unsurprisingly, Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi confused the National Security Agency (NSA) with the National Rifle Association (NRA).
Moments before the snafu, Pelosi attempted to persuade the audience of her long-lasting relationship with the intelligence community.
“The House minority leader appeared to get the NSA confused with the NRA during the Peter G. Peterson Foundation’s 2017 Fiscal Summit.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) included the National Rifle Association (NRA) as a member of the intelligence community on Tuesday while discussing the possibility of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia during the Peter G. Peterson Foundation’s 2017 Fiscal Summit.
“To have a President say, if he did, to the director of the FBI, or the DNI, Director of National Intelligence, or the NRA person that,” Pelosi told CNN’s Dana Bash, while discussing claims that President Trump may have obstructed justice.
Pelosi seemed to realize she messed up the acronym.
The acronym NRA stands for the National Rifle Association. Pelosi probably meant to use the acronym NSA, which stands for National Security Agency.
Making Pelosi’s mix up even worse is that moments before this Pelosi touted herextensive experience working with America’s intelligence community.”
