Ruben’s utter hypocrisy
November 3, 2017
Ruben Kihuen may have taken one of the dumbest votes in his short congressional career today, voting to kill the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) in order to protect Medicare subsidies for the top 1%.
Kihuen may talk a good game about protecting the underprivileged, but his voting record tells a completely different story. According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, there are 68,951 Nevada children enrolled in CHIP.
Expect to see this vote haunt Ruben all the way to November 2018.
