Bryce’s blame game

November 7, 2017

Randy Bryce refuses to take any responsibility for his actions.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Bryce was two years behind on child support payments when he announced his campaign:

The 52-year-old military veteran, who has featured his 11-year-old son in that online ad and in fundraising letters, was delinquent on paying his child support for nearly two years.

State records show the state placed a lien on Bryce’s meager property holdings in September 2015 because he had fallen behind on his child support payments. Bryce paid off the $1,257 debt on Aug. 31, two months after launching his congressional bid.

While Bryce tried shifting blame to Paul Ryan and House Republicans for his financial and legal woes, his primary opponent wasn’t having it:

“When my ex-husband got behind on his child support, I had to take a second job,” Myers said. “I put my personal interests aside and focused all my attention on providing for my family.”

Ouch.

The report also reveals that Bryce filed for bankruptcy after failing to pay his phone bill, electric bill, and $950 to Cornerstone Counseling Services. Cornerstone is SE Wisconsin’s “Leading, private, state-certified outpatient clinic addressing both mental health and alcohol/drug abuse needs.” That’s on top of a separate judgement for $1,776 that he still owes to another individual.

Looks like Ironstache has some explaining to do…
