NRCC CHAIRMAN STEVE STIVERS’ STATEMENT ON CONGRESSMAN TED POE’S RETIREMENT

The National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Steve Stivers released the following statement regarding TX-02 Congressman Ted Poe’s resignation:

“Judge Poe is a man of tremendous character and integrity who has dedicated his time in Congress to strengthening the rights of victims of abuse, and building a strong U.S. foreign policy. We all admire the Judge for his tenacity in battling and beating leukemia earlier this year. While he will be missed within our Conference, the NRCC is confident we will hold the Judge’s seat,” said NRCC Chairman Steve Stivers.
