NRCC CHAIRMAN STEVE STIVERS’ STATEMENT ON CONGRESSWOMAN MARTHA MCSALLY’S ANNOUNCEMENT

NRCC Chairman Steve Stivers released the following statement regarding AZ-02 Congresswoman Martha McSally’s announcement that she will enter Arizona’s 2018 Senate race:

“Congresswoman McSally is an American original, blazing a trail wherever she’s been and this decision is no different. Aside from being a fantastic representative for Southern Arizona with unique perspective as the first female fighter pilot in combat, she’s been a tremendous asset to House Republicans and her constituents. I wish her well,” said NRCC Chairman Steve Stivers.

“Currently, Democrats are duking it out in a five-way primary for this Republican-leaning seat. Nancy Pelosi has made it clear she wants a loyal foot soldier to replace McSally. The NRCC is happy to expose this liberal fantasy and keep this seat in GOP hands.”
