“they are big babies”

Ami Bera voted to shut down the government, throw millions of children off their health care, and jeopardize the pay and readiness of our military. KCRA interviewed Bera’s constituents on what they think about the shutdown he voted for, and it’s not pretty.

California’s 7^th District contains 27,941 children enrolled in CHIP who could lose their healthcare because of Bera’s reckless vote. That’s on top of 7,213 federal employees whose paychecks are in jeopardy.

So when Bera says “it’s not hard to see why people are so frustrated with Congress,” is he looking in the mirror? He should be. Because his constituents are clearly looking his direction, and they’re not happy.
