Three days after voting to shut down the government and end the Children’s Health Insurance Program, with bold predictions that Republicans would “own” the shutdown – Democrats caved.

Complicit in this shutdown over nothing were Tom O’Halleran, Ami Bera, Raul Ruiz, and Scott Peters, who were willing to throw away children’s healthcare, jeopardize federal workers and military families’ pay, and close down government services to satisfy a vocal minority of far-left immigration activists… for absolutely nothing in return.

Guess some [Congress]men just want to watch the world burn.
