Six questions for you
Yesterday Angie Craig was endorsed by the most radical wing of the Democratic party – the Congressional Progressive Caucus.
This leaves me with no less than six questions.
- Does Angie stand with their co-chair Keith Ellison, who is an active member of Antifa?
- Does she support the Caucus’ proposed spending increase of $3.5 million?
- Is she in favor of implementing single-payer at the expense of our national defense spending?
- Does she support hiking up the Death Tax, adding a Carbon tax, and increasing prices at the gas pump for Minnesota families?
- Where does this leave Jeff Erdmann, who claims to be the most progressive candidate in MN-02?
- Does this mean Angie would have opposed reopening the government yesterday?
Two days after the government shut down, she released a strange, bumbling statement saying that Jason Lewis needed to do his job and reopen the government. (Never mind that he voted to keep it open in the first place.) But since the Schumer sellout – she’s been silent, except to announce the CPC’s endorsement.
This is a prime example of Democratic candidates being left to fend for themselves, with the Nancy Pelosi wing of the party dead set on keeping the government shut down forever, and the other wing caving when they realized they were fighting a losing battle.
