quick note about the shutdown vote

Sequels are almost always a letdown, and tonight is no exception.

Matt Cartwright just voted to shut down the government (again), holding a full year of military funding hostage and preventing our troops from getting a raise.

Last time it was funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program, which provides 19,396 low-income children with essential health care in the 17^th district.
